Does Global Resorts Network Work During Tough Economic Times?

Do you think it's a wise decision to invest in a travel membership program like Global Resorts Network (GRN) during tough economic times? Whether it's the right home business opportunity for you? In this article, I would like to share my view on GRN and try to make an informed decision on whether I can justify the cost of the program verses the potential for my family to actually take benefits from it.

As you have probably found out, there are a lot of reviews about why you should join GRN. However, they are almost always written by people who are already in the GRN business and tend to really hype up the program making it difficult for someone to weave between a potentially overzealous affiliate vs. a credible non-bias source.

Currently, I am leaning towards joining the program and I have had direct email correspondence with one of the top leaders in the GRN opportunity.

He has been very helpful and has provided a tremendous amount of support and has shared what GRN is and what GRN isn't.

So, my dilemma is whether or not to plunk down the 3,000 dollars to purchase into the membership. The only real choice is the $3,000 platinum membership because it is a lifetime membership vs. the $1,500 gold membership which is only a 3 year membership.

My family currently takes at least 2 good vacations a year and when I searched the GRN database (it was a trial account on the affiliates page) they did have the same exact resort that we have stayed in before. It was a really nice resort that accommodated my family of 6 perfectly. So, I was excited to see that I could stay in the same hotel and the possibility of making a commission of $1,000 per sale in GRN is very intriguing.

Previously, my only involvement with a commission structure like this was in various affiliate programs that I never really did anything with.

I am not sure if it was not the right product, or the right time, or a combination of both. However, from what I can see, the GRN has a pretty good pay structure.

My other concern was about how to successfully market this product. Times are tough and I am sure that the travel business is experiencing a low. I am fearful that GRN might have a tough time competing with the same resorts that are lowering their prices just to stay in business.

Another interesting bit of information I found out about GRN was that you can only book a minimum of 7 nights/ 8 days. Since the price advertised is so darn cheap, it is still a great deal to only spend between $298 and $698 for a week stay in a resort. However, your value is reduced if you can only afford to stay 4 nights dues to other external costs or time away from work.

If I decide to join GRN, I will most certainly want to market the opportunity online. Currently a lot of people who are in GRN are using a marketing system called Carbon Copy. I am not a member of carbon copy or ccpro as it is called. I found that the program was too expensive for me and decided to join a less expensive program that seems to do everything that CCPro does.

There are a lot of leaders like Mark Hoverson, Mike Dillard, and Adam Holland who have no problem affording that system because they are making great money promoting the system. (For the record, I have no problem with that fact, it is a smart play on their part)

Would you join if you were in my shoes? Would you spend the money to be part of a travel membership group that can not only save you money on future travel but can also generate commission pay days? I am still undecided but think that I might give it a try.

There are only a little more research I need to do. I would like to know how other travel and resort opportunities compare to GRN. By the way, if you are already in GRN please don't try to get me to join GRN with you. I have already chosen who I will join with if I decide to join.

Global Resorts Networks seems to be a very stable company that has been around for a few years. I have not seen any legitimate negative commentary about GRN so that is a good thing. If there are any GRN "dirty little secrets" I am sure they would have been plastered all over the internet by now.

The one thing I know for sure is that it has to be better than selling juice, vitamins or products that make crazy claims to friends and family. The way I see it, everyone likes to take a great vacation.

Thanks for taking the time to hear my thoughts on GRN. I think it has much potential and by the time you read my thoughts I may already be an affiliate. Maybe I will see you on my next resort vacation courtesy of the Global Resorts Network.
