Paris is definitely one of the world’s truly great cities whose charming beauty lavishly pleases all tourists and business people. The capital attracts tourists with various beauty spots ranging from iconic landmarks to marvelous institutions or popular parks. A convenient way for the first journey to explore Paris is to take a cruise on the Seine River to see how the city fits together. Coming to Paris, architecture lovers can find their desire in Eiffel Tower or Triumphal Arch. Otherwise, some cultural ideas can be found in Arc de Triomphe. It can be clearly seen that each sightseeing has its own unique beauty but shares a common feature – making Paris “The City of Light”. Let’s take a journey around the city.

 


Arc de Triomphe is located at the centre of the Place Charles de Gaulle. It was structured in the shape of a monumental archway to honor the soldiers who died for France in the French Revolutionary and the Napoleonic Wars. It was continuously constructed from 1860 to 1836.

Académie Nationale de Musique was initially named the opera house. The building was designed and constructed by architect Palais Garnier from 1861 to 1875.

The Musée du Louvre, also known as Grand Louvre is one of the world’s top famous museums.35,000 artifacts including greatest works of human like Venus Statue, Samo Samonthrace statue, Mona Lisa and ect are displayed in the Louvre.

Pantheon temple is the famous historical structure in Sainte – Genevieve, district 5, Paris. This building was built in the 18th century to conserve Genevieve’s achievements. Nowadays, the temple is the burial place and honors the famous historical figures of France.

Eiffel Tower is the most famous recognizable structure of the world located in Champs de Mars square. The tower has three levels. Especially, once getting on the top of the tower, tourists can have the overview of the whole city.

Notre Dame De Paris is known as the cultural icon of France as well as the cultural beauty of the world. The cathedral was built in Gothis architecture and located on an island on the Seine River.

The Basilica of the Sacred Heart of Jesus of Paris or Sacré-Cœur Basilic was designed in Roman architecture from 1876 to 1914. This stunning work is located on a hill and is the second top of height in Paris after Eiffel Tower.
