The website Luxury-Hotels.com has released the list of most expensive hotels in the world 2011. The results are based on the average rates of a standard double room between June and August 2011.

The most expensive hotel in the world 2011 is Maia Luxury Resort & Spa located private peninsula on the southwest coast of Mahé island in The Seychelles. For a single night at the luxury resort and spa, guests must pay as much as $2455. The hotel has personal butlers and ultra large villas with a separate living space, private infinity pools for each villa, and a 24-hour personal butler. The spacious villas has uninterrupted ocean views and is surrounded by award-winning gardens.
